Our third project was the comic book color. The comic book color project was our first step in exploring the world of photoshop.

The process itself was fairly simple. We selected an image, mapped out the sections, and colored it. At first we made a flats layout of our final coloring (left), which really helped me organize, and visualize how I wanted to continue.

Using many different coloring techniques on photoshop, eventually, I was able to come with a set of basic colors that I think went well with the image.

Overall, I wanted my final comic book color (right) to feature very pastel colors, which I think brought a simplicity to a very complex and detailed image. I tried to make it very natural and calm, that added to the femininity of the the flowery earthy picture.
